Latest survey highlights need for AI support

The latest Charity Digital Skills Report 2024 from Zoe Amar Digital and Think Social Tech highlights that the skills and capacity of charities to engage with emerging tech trends is low. This is despite almost two thirds of charities believing AI is relevant to them. With less than a quarter feeling prepared to respond to the opportunities and challenges, there is a growing need for support.

AI4C aims to bridge this gap. Charged with the mission “To assemble and dissemble best practice in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technological area for the benefit of the Charity Sector”, the learning exchange was created in 2018 following the WCIT Charity IT Award 2018.

Open to any charity seeking guidance, advice and support on the considerations and quick wins of artificial intelligence, AI4C holds quarterly workshops and provides a wealth of resources from IT specialists and from charities who have already embarked on their AI journeys.
