Unseen is working towards a world without slavery.
They concentrate their efforts on three main areas – supporting, equipping and influencing.
Providing specialist care is the first step in the fight against slavery. Unseen supports survivors, giving them a safe place to recover from trauma and rebuild their lives.
Unseen’s practices are researched thoroughly, enabling them to identify the key issues surrounding slavery and exploitation, and equipping themselves and others with effective, targeted solutions.
Unseen also recognise the importance of influencing the systems that keep slavery hidden. Tackling issues such as supply and demand are vital if slavery is to be eradicated.
They hope that one day their work is no longer needed. That by working in partnership with communities, business, governments and other organisations slavery can be stamped out for good. But while there are victims of trafficking, Unseen want to be there to offer safety, hope and choice the victims deserve.
