AI4C spring workshop

At the 30th AI4C workshop, we heard from Elle Neal of Cohere, who demonstrated ways that charities could harness generative AI. She highlighted the summarisation and expansion apps available, search and knowledge retrieval tools, digital and asset creation apps and the coding possibilities with AI. Juan Ginzo of NewsUK then presented an AI use case, where colleagues from NewsUK and the BBC had used AI to improve the transparency of MPs interests in order to swiftly identify possible news stories. The session concluded with updates from Mental Health Innovation, Alzheimer’s UK, AbilityNet and Centrepoint.
