Meta kindly hosted the AI4C community at its HQ in Brock Street to explore the opportunities and challenges of VR and the metaverse for charities. There were demos of mixed reality and virtual reality, and the opportunity to experience immersive storytelling for social impact with VR for Good.

At this workshop, AI4C Chair Paul Excell gave an insight into the threats and opportunities of AI, and the Head of Developer Relations at Cohere presented on Large Language Models. He also introduced the LLM University, where people can gain a foundation in Natural Language Processing.

At this workshop we learnt about various AI learning modules, courses and accreditation options. There was a presentation on the implications for society and humanity of generative AI, and we heard about some of the real-world challenges of deploying generative AI.
